What do we integrate with?

Home Assistant

We fully support integration with Home Assistant via their built-in ZHA component. Support for Home Assistant is offered on a 'best effort basis' at this stage. It is intended for our more tech savvy customers but we will assist in whatever way we can. Watch this space, as we are looking to offer an all-in-one Home Assistant solution based on a Raspberry Pi (AKA Mecha DIY Smart Home Hub).

Tuya

The Mecha Smart Home Hub runs on the Tuya IoT platform. The Tuya cloud based platform is widely supported and incredibly capable. A lot of the smarts behind the Mecha Smart Home Hub is driven out of Tuya.

We are looking to develop our own custom app, based on this platform. Keep an eye out on the newsletter for more information on this.

Google Assistant

"OK Google, is the Garage Door Open?". Thanks to the Tuya platform, we are able to integrate with Google Assistant. Integrating with Google Assistant is quick and easy. Simply open the Google Home app and tap the Tuya integration component at the top.

Amazon Alexa

"Alexa, what is the temperature in the kids room?". The Mecha Smart Hub will integrate directly with Alexa. Just install the Tuya skill from the Alexa app.
